Charlie and I completed the webinar on "The Future of Work: IT's Role in Enabling Mobile Work" a few hours ago.

The whole session takes about 50 minutes; we're on for about 30 minutes, followed by an online demo of Citrix Online's GotoMyPC software that does just that - it let's you access a remote PC from anywhere and work on it just as if you were sitting in front of it.

And - just coincidently - our recent survey of IT professionals found that accessing a remote server or PC was just as important to mobile workers as a cell phone - a pretty impressive statistic when you think about it.

It seems that thirteen cabin crew staff have been sacked by Virgin Atlantic over their use of a social networking website.

Virgin launched disciplinary action last week following claims staff had used Facebook to criticise its safety standards and call passengers "chavs".

However, it would appear that there is now a campaign to have the "Facebook 13" re-instated.
